Alhambra Classical Spanish Guitars was founded in 1965 from an original small guitar workshop located in the town of Muro del Alcoy, a village in the northern part of Alicante district, Spain. From the very beginning it has been policy to combine the highest standard of craftsmanship with the latest advancements in technology to produce the finest quality instruments.

Alhambra has given special priority to their research department where all ideas and projects are developed. Manned by highly qualified staff, it has enabled Alhambra to produce the top models for our range which today are considered second to none. Finally, with the co-ordination of their production director and specialized craftsman, the results of these investigations are applied to their basic guitars.

As illustrated in their catalogue, although modern technology is an important part of production technique, all instruments are built in the traditional Spanish way.
